This page provides links to other conservation and birding sites, with an emphasis on those most relevant to northern Victoria and the southern Riverina.

Most of the sites listed are non-commercial in nature. However, some of the sites may offer commercial guiding, tour or accommodation services. That a commercial or semi-commercial site is listed does not mean an endorsement of the business, although I am unaware of links to any disreputable business.

Neither I nor any organisation associated with this site necessarily endorse the views or actions expressed on any of the linked sites.

There are a number of pages on this site, concentrating on northern Victoria and southern (Riverina) NSW:
indigenous animals,
Barmah-Millewa Forest,

Introduction

The advent of fast and efficient search engines such Google mean this site may be less useful than it was first composed over a decade ago. Nonetheless, it is hoped that the listings may be of help.

The aim is to provide links to Australian conservation and environmental sites, with particular emphasis to birding sites and sites relevant to northern Victoria and southern (Riverina) New South Wales.

In addition to the sites listed below, other links are to be found on various sections of this site.

Sites often change, especially when governments or department names change. This has been noticeable over the past year or so. Links were last checked late in December 2009 when scores of broken links were either fixed and when many abandoned sites were deleted.

This site is best used in conjunction with a search engine, links to which are in the side panel.

That a site is listed must not be taken as an endorsement (either by the webmeister or by any organisation associated with this site) of products advertised on, or views expressed on that site. Similarly, nothing should be implied should a site not be listed.
